Building a Custom Home
If you are seriously interested in purchasing land and building your own home, please contact Chris Close Properties directly (480 221-1672). We will make appointments with several recommended Architects & Custom Home Builders in the Valley, or with any one of your choosing.  This is an area of special expertise and an area in which we have good insight.  It is important to understand all the parameters when considering building a home and we can advise you on the exact schedule you would need to establish, including lot purchase, working with contractors, financing, warranties and title.  We can also help with renting a home while you are having your home built.
We will work for you full-time as a professional buyer's agent, to help you buy the home of your choice, using our expertise to make buying a home a smooth and pleasant experience.

What is the role of the buyer's Realtor?
  1. Find properties that meet your needs.
  2. Assist in answering your questions or direct you to other sources for answers.
  3. Prepare the purchase contract according to your instructions.
  4. Submit all offers and counteroffers promptly.
  5. Coordinate inspections and walkthroughs.
  6. Promptly communicate the status of your transaction while in escrow.
In helping you find a home we will:
  1. Go over your home requirements, wants and special needs, location descriptions, and financial requirements.
  2. Show you the areas you select while locating schools, shopping areas, recreational facilities and houses of worship.
  3. Provide information on all homes available in the areas of your choice.
To assist you in choosing a home we will:
  1. Discuss the economic benefits and drawbacks of each home in relation to your financial position and specific needs.
  2. Show you the necessary information on taxes, covenants, and deed restrictions.
  3. Prepare a complete estimate of settlement costs for any home that you wish to make an offer.
To assist you in buying a home we will:
  1. Introduce you to several financial lenders and help you obtain the best terms for the purchase of your home.
  2. Explain all financing alternatives such as Conventional loans, ARM loans, FHA loans and VA loans.
  3. Help you in negotiating the purchase of the property.
  4. Accompany you to final settlement, making sure you understand the entire settlement process.
