Metro Phoenix ZIP Code Map - This Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (pdf) file presents the entire Phoenix metropolitan area at-a-glance.  It shows state and interstate highways and major (arterial) streets with community names, rivers, national parks, and national forests clearly labeled.  The greyscale image has a red ZIP code overprint for easy reference.  This map requires Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free download) which is, most likely, already installed in your computer.  This is definitely a valuable tool to be used in conjunction with the ARMLS property search by ZIP code (use "Find Property" button).  Simply find the general area where you would like to find available property - you can zoom in and drag the map referencing cross streets that bound the area - and note the ZIP code(s) that contain that area.  Use the ARMLS "Seach By Locations" option and enter the ZIP code(s) accordingly.  You will be presented with a list of properties within your selected ZIP code(s).  The map is presented in a separate browser window for your convenience.

Google Maps - This is a fast, clickable, dragable map tool ideal for locating properties and their surrounding streets whose names are usually obscure on most maps; very good for learning the new neighborhood.  You can even use the "local search" feature to find your closest grocery store or bank branch or the kids' school.  Click on "Satellite" for an aerial view of the neighborhood.
